Laptop battery drained after shutting down ?

So you were working on your laptop and your laptop battery level is less than 25%, you did not charge it as your work is complete, so you click on the shutdown button. 

Next day, you tried to open the laptop but it did not open. You plugged in your PC it started to show low battery light indication.

You thought that you did not shut it down properly due to heavy workload? No!

Guess what, Fast startup is enabled, what does it do ?

Windows 10 will often hibernate instead of shutting down. Fast Startup closes your active programs and puts the computer into a low-energy hibernation state that allows you to boot up your computer much faster next time.

Steps to Disable Fast Startup -

How To Video- 


Open the Control Panel

Go to Hardware and Sound







Go to Power Option





Click on Choose what the power button does



By Default this option will not be enabled , click on Change settings that are currently unavailable.


Uncheck Turn on Fast Startup
