How to Format and load fresh Windows

Hello guys, my name is vikas singh singraur and i am here to help you guys with windows 7 , formatting and fresh installation. for that you guys need a bootable pen drive or Bootable DVD of Windows 7. This , you can buy from the software store of you can download it from the web.

Formatting of the OS is done when you are facing a slow running issue, virus attack etc.

Let us suppose that you have a bootable device say a bootable pen drive....

Now follow the given pictorial explanations, and you can do that without spending any amount of money...............

Step 1 : The very first step towards the formatting of windows is save your data , if important. If you are unable to open your PC properly then you can format just "C " drive (System drive where OS is loaded) so that all the other drives data will be safe, or if you don't have any other drive than you can save your data by not formatting just install the fresh windows , backup your data (which will be present in the "windows.old" named folder) and then format again.

Step 2 : Insert the DVD and restart your PC or if you have bootable pen drive then shut-down your PC and then insert the pen drive.

Now start , while the first menu show to your PC (BOOT SCREEN) press the key which says a "boot menu" key on the screen, press that button. Which may be "F9,F12 Delete or Esc " buttons , various PC have various options

PS- before inserting the pen drive, first check for the boot options , so that your pen drive do not affect with the virus.

Step 3 : Now you got to the boot menu , you will see that like below image , where your "hard drives and bootable media" will be shown......

In the above image here the bootable media is "HP pen drive" Which is selected as a bootable device ... here press "Enter"

Now you see windows is loading files , that means you are doing it right

Step 4: Now you reach on this screen, Select your appropriate selection and hit "next"

Step 5 : Now you are at this screen, which may or may not appear in your windows , due to this is my bootable window so i have all the windows versions (32 bit and 64 bit) , now if this screen shows select the windows you want and "click" on that and hit "Next".

Now "Check" on "I agree to install windows activated" and hit "Next"

Step 6 : Now you will see this screen, click on the "Custom (advanced)" option

Step 7 : This is the most important step,

a) If you want to format the whole PC , delete all the partitions one by one.
b) If want to retrieve your data, which is present in the rest drives (Not on C), then format the "C or System drive" (Where old OS is loaded)
c) If you want to save all of the data of your computer just select the drive where you want to save the fresh windows (recommended C drive), you can retrieve you data present on C drive in "windows.old" folder
hit "Next"

Step 8 : Now when have done deleting the drives you see "Disk 0 Unallocated Space", now all the data on your PC has been removed, now you need to make partitions (Drives) for your PC

Click on new and give according digits for drive size, Which will be shown in MB
